Samford Black Alumni Association

About the SBAA

The Samford Black Alumni Association is an official extension of the Samford University Alumni Association. Established to strengthen the legacy of educational attainment and excellence of Samford black students. The SBAA provides scholarship assistance, career mentoring and cultural advocacy through alumni volunteer involvement, philanthropy, and social enterprise.

In addition to providing scholarships, the SBAA is an organization that is intentional about networking and opportunities for competitive access for our students and alumni. There is specific programming by SBAA which focuses directly on workforce success and leadership for future alumni, especially offered through our "I.M.P.A.C.T." (Inspiring Minorities to Pursue Academic and Community Together) initiative program.
