How do I keep my email address active?
To keep your email address active, log in to portal
at least once every six months. Whether its a specific holiday or a reminder on your calendar, we recommend setting a certain time each year to help you remember!
I still remember my username and password, but my account is no longer active. What do I do?
If you remember all of your login information, you can contact Technology Services directly about re-activating your address. They can be reached at 205-726-2662 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
They will then walk you through the reactivation process.
Who do I contact if I want to reactivate my account or if I've forgotten my login information?
If you have forgotten your username or password, contact Lori Hill in University Advancement at email@example.com
. Lori will handle all the steps on finding your login information and contacting Technology Services to reactive your account.
My account is active, but I can't remember my password. How do I reset it?
You can change your password here
. However, this is only if you know your address is still active! If you haven't used your account in the past 6 months, it's likely that it has been deactivated. If you think this might be the case, contact Lori Hill.
